I'm Back
It's been a while but I am safely in San Diego at last. We don't have Internet at home and last week my blog got blocked because they thought I was a spam robot so I haven't been able to get around to updating it.
San Diego is a great place and I am really enjoying life so far. I had promised some people that I would not mention the weather but I'm sorry - it's lovely! It's nice and warm in the sun and pleasantly cool in the evenings.
I still don't have a place to live yet but I do have the important things sorted out - I have a surf board!! I'll put some pictures up when I get a chance. I've used it three times so far. The first time was at sunset with the dolphins up the coast a little way. The other two times have been here in Pacific beach where I am looking to live. I've managed to stand up a few times each session and am improving slowly. Apparently it takes a very long time to become good so I have my work cut out for me. The board is a 9ft4 Gordon and Smith 'Team Ryder' and it is bright yellow. I love it.
The week I spent out in Texas before I came over here was good too. I saw death row and a giant statue of Sam Houston on the way to watch Rebecca's brother compete in the reining World championships. It was good to catch up with the family, friends in Austin, and of course Rebecca and Macy!
The sunset picture was taken here in Pacific Beach. The first of many watched from the beach...
