Austin Texas Baby!

In the words of the Texas quarterback the national college football trophy is coming 'all the way to ow-stin Texas Baby!'. Last week the University of Texas won the college football national title. It was an amazing game that went right to the final whistle and would have had you on the edge of your seat no matter what sport you like. Because of that game I've now learned about the NFL draft whereby all the best players from the team will now get snapped up by the professional teams in some kind of weird lottery where the worst team gets first pick. In fact, some professional teams were trying not to win anymore games so that they would get the best pick of the amateur players for next season. All seems a bit weird to me, but then so does millions of people watching a university sports team. The picture above is of the tower on the university campus. I joined hundreds of other people on Sunday night to get a shot of the tower lit up like this. The whole town has gone crazy. 2000 commemorative t-shirts were sold within a few hours of the game finishing and the students are not even in town right now!
