Acclimatisation Example
This morning, in the neighbourhood near the university, I passed a Turkey Vulture. As I got close it flew off with a dead squirrel in its claws.
A few years ago I would have been amazed by that.

I saw that very same thing driving thru a neighborhood near my house today, except this vulture decided to just hop up on the curb & wait until I had driven by to get back to its meal.
